The game allows you to accelerate time as you cruise between stars at impossible speeds, making it easy to observe planetary orbits and the complex interactions within star systems. Watching these celestial mechanics play out in real-time or sped-up animations gave me an almost omnipotent perspective on the universe, revealing how interconnected everything truly is.

One of the most impressive features of SpaceEngine is the level of detail on each planet. Every planet and moon has procedurally generated 3D terrain, making each landscape unique with a high level of detail.
